OLDEST game you’ve played

My guess is D&D 3rd edition is the oldest game I have ever played. Since I was the one that introduced tabletop RPGs to my group of friends, they went with what I had decided to run (aka 4e) and there were no other immediate external suggestions at the time. Since then, I haven’t tried anything old. Maybe old school stuff but not ones that are old. Which brings us to the next question.

Most Old-school RPG owned

I hope I won’t make anyone mad because old-school can mean many things. So for me the most old-school RPG owned is Basic Fantasy RPG. A variation to this question is the most old-school RPG played and in that case the answer would be Knave 1st edition. You see now what I meant by “old-school can mean many things”.

Sorry for the short post this time. I was busy with work today as well and I just managed to steal some time before I had to get ready and leave to meet a friend. And that friend actually just now messaged me that is he coming to pick me up so I really need to leave. Tomorrow’s question is “Favourite game you never get to play”. I have a bunch of those.
