We survived another RPGaDay!
Technically, I need to finish this question before I can brag about surviving it. And having woken up with severe back pain I give myself a 70% chance to finish this article today. So let’s see…favourites…I don’t like questions like this. Especially when you add the grand “of all time” at the end of it. What does it mean? Can I change this later?
You know what? The pain has cleared my mind. Who cares about all-time favourites? As long as you and your friends enjoy what you play, there is no need to give titles like that. Every single time I join a session (either as a GM or a player) I am excited. The system doesn’t matter. I am just glad I am there, surrounded by friends, rolling dice, and doing silly things with our imagination.
But rebellious acts against the questions (without any serious reason, other than my back pain, mind you) aside, I’ll go with D&D 4th Edition. Why? Because it deserves some love, that’s all. And because if you ask me next week I will probably give another answer just on a whim.
And I am happy to announce that this year’s RPGaDay has successfully concluded. There was a bonus question, asking us to compare the initial questions, but I wasn’t there so I don’t have initial ones. So I must leave you for now. Tomorrow is September. Summer went by in a flash for me this year. I had a ton of work and I didn’t realize how June and July came and went. But no matter the workload, RPGaDay has become a serious thing for me so I will always try to find some time for it.
If you enjoyed my ramblings, feel free to stay on the blog. We are doing our best given our available free time and we try harder. If you won’t stay, then I guess I may see you next year.
And until next time, have fun!
