DriveThruRPG New Year, New Game Sale

There’s a new sale on DriveThruRPG.

It’s not only a DriveThruRPG sale but it also runs on DMs Guild, Storyteller’s Vault, Pathfinder Infinite, and DriveThruCards. So, if you have any gift budget leftovers from last month, there’s probably something that will pique your interest. And, of course, I have a few suggestions.

Tiny Dungeon is a minimalist fantasy system that uses the TinyD6 engine. It’s an engine that I have been thinking about using for some time now and to me it looks pretty interesting. So that would be a nice way to check out the engine. Moreover, it has a few micro-settings which is a word that’s interesting on its own.

Worlds Without Number is not a game I have played but I really like the worldbuilding section of the book. I have been reading blogs from other people on how they use it to create their world and I have been messing with it for a while. So, if you like worldbuilding, I suggest taking a look. If you prefer sci-fi there’s Stars Without Number and if you are more of a cyberpunk fan there’s also Cities Without Number.

Finally, you can’t go wrong with Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory if you are into the 40k setting. It’s a bit more straightforward than previous attempts and it’s definitely easier to play this than the miniature wargaming version of it. Trust me, the last 1000-point game I played took me 3-4 hours and left me with an overloaded brain.

I can go on and on with proposed titles but it’s January, there is a limited budget, and not too many slots available in the new year resolutions list so I’ll stop here. If you have any suggestions let me know. I am interested in what’s everyone trying these days.

And until next time, have fun!
