Too much advice, too little time

I haven’t received advice from another GM face-to-face. However, I’ve watched a ton of videos and read even more articles that included advice, among other things. To be honest, none of them come to mind as a golden start among the rest. They were honest advice that was actually helpful but nothing genius. But these things accumulate in time and slowly forge you into a better GM, as long as you keep the things that make you better and toss away those that do not suit you or your group. And that’s basically the most important advice. Learn to pick the best things for you and your group. For me, it feels kind of like dodging the question but for new GMs and players, this could be helpful. Now that there are even more websites and YouTube channels churning out content, learning to do that is important.
