It’s October, so you know what that means.
Even in Greece, where Halloween has no cultural meaning, people have started enjoying its atmosphere. Because spooky stuff and anything pumpkin is not hard to incorporate into anything. But I digress. There’s a sale running on DriveThruRPG and the DMs Guild so I’m here to make some suggestions.
Let’s start with the DMs Guild
I have a lot of staples from the DMs Guild that I recommend every year. For example, the Haunt is such a good adventure, and so are its not one but two sequels.

I would have suggested a couple of adventures by Jeff Stevens but he makes it easier for me (and you) by creating the Freak Show Collection. It features three pretty good adventures, with additional goodies. Oh, and you can even get a physical copy of this.
Now let’s check out the DriveThruRPG side
I keep mentioning Free League Publishing, so I can’t not mention it here. I find Vaesen really interesting. I have physical copies of the core rulebook and the Wicked Secret, which is a collection of mysteries. I want to get the rest of the books as well. I think what intrigues me the most is that combat is not the main solution and, coming from a D&D background, that’s refreshing. Oh, and there are also solo rules that I haven’t tried yet.

Now, here’s the thing. I could probably suggest 10 more things EASILY. But I’ve caught myself multiple times budgeting the items I want to mention based on my own financial state (which is not the best at the moment – yeah, who isn’t having issues?). So I’ll just leave you with the things I would definitely get if I didn’t own them already. Well, maybe I’ll get the Vaesen Solo rules since they’re on sale but don’t tell anyone. I hope you enjoy Halloween, either by doing Halloween things or having an awesome game session.
And until next time, have fun!
