The Black Friday sale sucks in Greece. At least I can buy some RPG stuff online.
Seriously, I’ve talked about before how much of a farce Black Friday is in Greece. And this year it’s so much worse. But I am not willing to go through this again so I will just talk about some really good bargains on the DriveThruRPG and DMsGuild Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale.
I don’t want to overwhelm you with a huge list so I’m going to be very light this year.
I haven’t played it but Aether Nexus compels me to try it because of its concept and art. The art style hits a very specific spot in my brain. Plus, you can’t go wrong with mechas. Aether Nexus has been on my radar for a couple of months since I’ve been seeing some posts about it here and there.
Moving on to a tool for worldbuilding that I discovered this year, I think, and am excited about. Well, Worlds Without Number is a whole RPG but it has a really solid chapter about worldbuilding. I have read about other people using it to create their own worlds and I recently decided to experiment with it as well. The results so far have been interesting, but I don’t have as much time as I’d like to spend on it.
I want to mention two of my staple adventures because I always mention them and for a good reason. Call from the Deep is an excellent campaign that rivals the “official” adventures. We have a good review of it if you want to find out why.
Moving on to one of my favourite one-shots, Shore of Dreams. Running this adventure is easy and fun. More about it here.
Finally, I want to mention a supplement by yours truly, Undead at Every Size. It features 14 unique undead creatures, covering all size categories. It was fun creating those monsters and I hope you have fun using them, if you decide to get this.
And now I need to leave you to your shopping, for I have tomorrow’s session to prepare. Keep true to your budget and don’t overspend.
And until next time, have fun!
