#RPGaDAY2025 – Day 28: Suspense

I’m a simple man. I don’t know much about suspense.

But one thing I know is that one of the best ways to make the players want to play more and push for a session sooner is to end the session on a cliffhanger. That can be a major reveal, or the start of an ambush, or the moment the stealthing party gets caught. Of course, this can’t always be done, and it shouldn’t, to be honest. Otherwise, the players would get used to it.

The next prompt is going to be “connect”.

And until next time, have fun!

P.S.: You can find all of my posts for this year’s RPGaDay here. Thanks to AUTOCRATIK and Casting Shadows for hosting another year of the event.
