Humble Book Bundle – Magpie Games Extravaganza

Another Monday, another great bundle.

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope your week started calmly. At least, Humble Bundle is trying to help by coming up with another great bundle, this time featuring RPGs from Magpie Games.

But before we check that out, just a reminder that there’s also quite a large World of Darkness bundle running.

Now, what’s in the Magpie Games Extravaganza bundle?

Inside the bundle

This bundle features about 12 RPGs of varying length, along with supplements for some of them.

Avatar Legends, Root: The Roleplaying Game, Bluebeard’s Bride, and Masks: A New Generation all come with multiple items, including their Core Rulebooks. There’s more than enough content to start playing.

If you like FATE, you will find three anthologies of FATE Codex, a zine by Magpie Games, which translates to about a bit over 1000 pages of FATE content.

Pasion de las Pasiones lets you play characters from a telenovela. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this, and the concept is hilarious.

When I checked out, Our Last Best Hope while the idea is cool, I immediately thought it could be used in an opposite way. You can probably run flashback vignettes and see how people made desperate attempts to save the galaxy, but sadly failed, and now you have Death in Space. Damn, that actually sounds really interesting. I’ll have to check it out.

There are quite a few more RPGs in this bundle, which can easily be used as a filler session if you want to take a break from a specific system. You can check them all out here.

The deal

The bundle can be found here and will end around November 1st. The price is set at €22.56 (or around $26) for everything.

And until next time, have fun!
