Humble Book Bundle – Last Call for Lankhmar by Goodman Games

Today’s bundle, by Goodman Games, focuses on Lankhmar. But what’s Lanhkmar, I hear you ask. Well, you see, Lankhmar is a city. A city full of factions of varying legality and interests. So that makes it a really good urban setting for a party of characters of varying legality and interests.

Since this campaign setting has been created with Dungeon Crawl Classics in mind, the bundle also contains the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG Core Rulebook. The rest of the contents are specific to Lankhmar itself. Of course, you get the Campaign Setting book, which is the main thing you need to run a game in the city. The rest of the items offered either expand on what we know about the city or are adventures.

However, there is also a physical item, the Lankhmar Printed Boxed Set & Adventure Bundle. It contains more lore, extra mechanics, and a GM Screen.

I really like urban settings because I can either use them as is and have my group do a full campaign there, or I can just use them to add an extra city in my setting, because they are fully developed, and you can always add one more city somewhere.
