What can be considered intriguing?

I am not sure what can be considered. This is a very biased question. For example, an intriguing detail for me is an inn found in the city of Waterdeep, in the Forgotten Realms. This place was given to my player’s characters while playing through Waterdeep: Dragonheist. They decided to turn it into an inn and it was a key element in the story. So now I consider it “official” in any games I run that feature Waterdeep and any character can visit and discover all that is offered in that inn.
