I hope you’re having a great Wednesday. Let’s make it a little better, shall we?
Humble Bundle has released another Pathfinder 2nd Edition bundle, but let’s see if it’s any good.
From the get-go, if you just focus on monetary value, the physical item in this bundle basically makes it worth it. Elemental Stones is a simple and quick tile placement board game. It takes about 30 minutes to play. A note on this. The 30-minute timing is for when you know how to play and can cut corners. At least, that’s my experience with other board games. Still, your first games probably won’t take longer than an hour. As I said, this game alone makes the bundle worth getting if you are interested only in monetary value. The game costs $39.99 to get from the Paizo shop, when the whole bundle costs around $42.
But apart from the board game, you also get the Player, Player 2, Monster and GM Core books. There are even more character options in the Lost Omens Character Guide and Rage of Elements. And you also get 10 scenarios and adventure paths, because there is no point in having character options when you have nowhere to use them. The 14 digital flip mats are just a bonus at this point.
For me, however, the most interesting item of the bundle is the Lost Omens World Guide. I really like lore books. Even if I don’t get to use a specific setting, I can always use it for inspiration for something else.
As I said, you can get everything for $42. If you live in the US, it is really worth getting the full bundle, because it’s like buying a board game and getting a few months’ worth of game time of Pathfinder Second Edition as a gift.
You can check out the bundle here. It will be available until around the 29th.
Enjoy!
