That’s actually a really good question.
Micro-rpgs intrigue me, like one page dungeons do. I find it very interesting how you can use them to have full blown adventures with only a couple of pages of rules.
I already have some in my list but, sadly, I haven’t gotten the chance to try them. Today I’m going to mention two of them. The first is probably going to be mentioned by many people and it’s Lasers & Feelings. The rules are pretty straightforward. My only note is that I’d love to see it as a softcover book that would include a couple of example scenarios.
The second one is called Everyone is John. It’s a very interesting one, in my opinion. The story is that all the players have control over a character, named John, who is totally insane. I wasn’t able to find an official site for the rules, so I just uploaded my own copy of the rules. If anyone knows the official site, please let me know.
Finally, an honorable mention is Microscope.
And that’s my answer to today’s question. Let me know which is your favorite micro-rpg. I’d really like to try some.
Tomorrow’s question is “Which RPGs are the easiest for you to run?”.
So until then, have fun!
