RPG comic book you say?

The latest Kickstarter project by Cawood Publishing is for a comic book called RPGenerations: Tabletop Knights. They have teamed up with the artist Domenico Neziti to bring you a 7″ by 7″ softcover book filled with 100 comics.

The book has a soft cover but there’s a stretch goal that unlocks a hard cover. There are more stretch goals, including more comics in the book, some comics being colored, and a custom made d20 from Q-Workshop.

As for other rewards, there is an adventure with art from Domenico that will be based on elements from his comics. There’s also a booklet with NPCs from the comics, with stats and backgrounds. Finally, there will be an RPGenerations notebook and an RPGenerations t-shirt.

My opinion on this Kickstarter is that it’s a matter of personal preference. For example, I like that the comics are in black and white and I really enjoy the fact that some of the comics are RPG versions of memes. And going through some of them made me smile because I was thinking “So this doesn’t happen only in our group”. As for the quality of the art, I don’t really need to say anything because you can see for yourselves that it’s amazing.
