Reading is probably the best way to spend your quarantine.
I had to spend two months in a military base with a very limited internet connection and not a lot of resources. If it weren’t for some books I had with me, things would have been bad. Because there’s a point when browsing the internet either gets boring or too expensive (mobile data plans suck) and playing games on your phone causes you headaches.
So reading became my go to thing during my free time. And when I was done with my physical books, Humble actually saved me because I had downloaded a previous bundle about writing. So here are two cool bundles you can get.
Warhammer 40K Deathwatch by Cubicle 7
I guess Cubicle 7 and Humble really like joining hands because they’ve been releasing a ton of Warhammer bundles. Can’t really complain, though, because getting some of these titles can be quite expensive.
Take the role of the devout, bio-engineered super-soldiers known as Space Marines in Deathwatch.
I’ve never had the opportunity to play Deathwatch but now I can at least check it out. And, to be honest, just the Core Rulebook for $1 is way too good to pass on.
You can check out the bundle here.
Dungeons & Dragons – Read the Realms by Wizards of the Coast
Rulebooks are fun but sometimes you need a bit of literature. Humble has you covered once more. And this time, it’s a really good bundle.
Step into the world of the Forgotten Realms and get ebooks like The Collected Stories: The Legend of Drizzt Anthology, Storm of the Dead, Homeland, and Dissolution!
I haven’t finished reading the Legend of Drizzt, let alone any of the other collections. And although I’m planning on completing my collection of physical copies, this quarantine showed me the true worth of digital copies. And again, over 2000 pages for $1 is more than worth it. And I’m not even mentioning higher tiers.
You can check out the bundle here.
