Time to show off some cover art!
I am going to take a break from writing and just share the cover art of some RPG books I really like. I will be following the rules below:
- It doesn’t have to be a core rulebook
- I must own the book, otherwise I will spend the next 3 hours looking at pretty pictures on the internet
- I have 5 minutes to pick the winners
- I can’t pick more than 5 books
- I will be judging based on how much I like the cover. The system doesn’t play any role in this.
The rules have been set. Now I just have to go to the dungeon and browse for 5 minutes. Be right back!
Approximately 7 minutes later
I have returned with four entries! In no particular order, I present to you the pretty books
Forbidden Lands: Raven’s Purge
I really like how the cover is split in two and there is a slight contrast of colours.

D&D 4th Edition: Neverwinter Campaign Setting
Ruins, ships, Dracolich, and a ton of blue. That does it for me.

D&D 5th Edition: Mythic Odysseys of Theros
This is, in my opinion, the best cover art in 5th Edition. Awesome colours and the cover is quite shiny. Bonus points because I love hydras.

Honourable Mention
D&D Xanathar’s Guide to Everything
This is my girlfriend’s favourite cover art for 5th Edition. She finds Xanathar and its pet goldfish quite cute.

And that’s all for today. This was a nice prompt. I got to rummage through my RPG book collection and found some books I didn’t remember I had.
Tomorrow I will be sharing with you who I’d like to see take part in #RPGaDay. I already have a couple of people in mind.
And until next time, have fun!
