Suggestions time!
Next year is the 10th anniversary of #RPGaDay. I have participated in five of these events and it has been quite fun. However, one thing I have noticed and has got me thinking is that there is no central hub for the event. There are the people organizing it and setting up the questions and infographic but they do that in their own spaces. That’s not bad, but the event gets lost in the sea of posts. Another effect of this is that you can’t find the entries of others. I have seen a couple of blogs writing their responses and a few people on social media. I’m sure there are more people participating but it’s not easy to find them. This is a general suggestion but I had to mention it.
Let’s move to a specific suggestion now. I think the theme for next year should be time. Pick 2 questions per year and you have 20 questions ready. New people can answer the questions without any issues. People who participated in the past can go back to their previous responses and see how they have changed. The 11 questions left can be, again, time-related.
Another idea would be to run a fundraiser but the money should go to an international organization since people from all over the world participate in the event. This can be a bit tricky.
And these are my 2.5 suggestions regarding #RPGaDay. If you have any suggestions, please leave them as a comment and I will make sure they get to the organizers. Tomorrow marks the last day of this year’s #RPGaDay and the question is an easy one. Whew!
And until next time, have fun!
