Art is very important for an RPG.
It helps your imagination run wild, which is the whole idea behind gaming. However, art is very subjective and, if I really like one style, some other may hate it. Moreover, there are many RPG genres and each one has its own unique art.
For example, Numenera art manages perfectly to depict the idea of science fantasy. I’m also really drawn to the art of both Pathfinder and D&D. The styles are different but both are amazing.
Finally, even if I haven’t tried it, I’d like to give an honourable mention to Mouse Guard RPG. I was checking it out the other day and it has really beautiful art. It’s like looking at art from a book of fairy tales.
And that’s my answer to yesterday’s question. Yes, I’m a bit late because something happened yesterday. I’ll be posting the answer to today’s question a bit later.
The question I’ll be answering later is “Describe a game experience that changed how you play.”.
So until then, have fun!
Check out Symbaroum, which has the best art and setting of any RPG, in my opinion 🙂

I’ve heard of it but I haven’t checked it out yet. A lot of people say it’s good so I should give it a try some time soon.
