This is pretty much a follow up for yesterday’s question.
Messing around with an RPG’s mechanics is really interesting. I tend to create content for the ones I use the most and change some rules to fit my group better. However, I don’t mind using D&D 5th Edition as is. It’s a well designed system that also had an open playtest during its creation. This means the community had a say in how it was designed.
Also, did you know you can play it for free? The rules are available on the Wizards website and also there’s a post I wrote some time ago about how you can play D&D for free.
