Messing with mechanics and the design of an RPG is something I find entertaining.
Of the RPGs I’ve tried, I think the one who is the easiest to mess with is Open Legend RPG. The reason is that it was designed with making it easy to adapt and mess with from the beginning. It’s core mechanics are straightforward, yet rich, and you can easily convert D&D 5th Edition content to it.
If you haven’t check this system out already, you should give it a go. Actually, you can take a look at it for free here.
And that’s my answer to today’s question. As I said, I like messing around with mechanics. And that’s also why I ended up creating a new Rogue Archetype for D&D 5th edition. It’s called Saboteur and you can check it out here.
Tomorrow’s question is “Which RPG do you enjoy using as is?”.
So until then, have fun!
