Time to end this with an awesome question.
I see, the best question has been kept for last. So, why do I take part in RPGaDay?
For me the RPGaDay is a challenge in a few ways. First of all, you’re tasked with posting daily for a month. That’s a feat by itself if you ask me. Of course, you can miss a few days but the idea is to manage to answer one question per day. I don’t think I can keep a daily posting schedule. At least not at the moment. And the RPGaDay event takes me out of my comfort zone, which I consider really refreshing.
Another challenge are the questions themselves. Some of them can be easy. Others, however, can catch you by surprise and you end up pondering on how deep they actually are. There have been times when I spent the whole day thinking about my answer.
Adding to the above, the questions also provide you inspiration. Sometimes, I end up looking back at the questions and think how I can expand on them. There are a couple of them I’d like to go back to and write a more complete essay. Moreover, as you think about the questions, more of them can pop in your head.
But the most important reason is that it’s fun and you get to be part of the community. You provide your answers and you can check the answers of others. You may find things in common or even see how different the answer is because someone may have perceived the question in a very different way.
And that’s my answer for today’s question. There’s no question for tomorrow and I’m not going to provide one for you today. Instead, I’m going to urge you to take part in RPGaDay next year.
And so until then, have fun!
