“So where do we meet?”
I’ve heard this phrase a lot, in the context of arranging a gaming session. I really like having sessions up close. I get to see friends and have snacks. Plus, the pre-game talk is more fulfilling.
But now with the pandemic, things have changed. I had to spend two months of quarantine inside a military base, because I was also in the middle of my mandatory service. So we had to adapt.
I actually managed to run a session from inside the base once. The connection was bad but we managed to make it work. I’m having a session, probably tomorrow if some technical difficulties won’t get in the way, and we’ll play online again.

It’s not that we hadn’t played online in the past. It’s not our preferred method but sometimes we had to since we couldn’t meet up close. Even if we like gaming around a table, it takes more time.
But that’s probably not even an option at this time.
That’s all for this one. I got a bit ranty but I couldn’t hold myself. Sometimes the pandemic stuff get into my head. Next word is “tower”. Ah, a good one.
