Get Ready for La Notte Eterna — A Unique and Memorable Experience!

La Notte Eterna is a new project on Kickstarter by Jason R. Frobus and it is compatible with most game systems and in particular with D&D 5th edition.

The inspiration for La Notte Eterna comes from the Italian proverb “la notte eterna,” which translates to “the eternal night.” This proverb is about exploring the unknown and embracing the beauty of the night, and La Notte Eterna seeks to capture that experience. It features a unique atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else, along with a captivating story that explores the boundaries between reality and imagination.

The supplement is more than 1000 pages long and consists of three main rulebooks, La Notte Eterna Corebook, Monsters and Heroes and The Song of Nebvarasa. It contains new races, mechanics, subclasses, magic items, monsters and ready to play characters! There is also a free quickstart guide available (signup required).

In a world where the sun no longer rises, all living (and undead) creatures have either adapted or succumbed to the eternal darkness. Mortal races put aside their ancient differences to forge alliances against new threats. Night-dwelling creatures benefited the most from the eternal darkness and have largely spread across the land. Meanwhile, the gods continue fighting their Celestial War; sometimes, their powerful blows send artifacts, angels and demons off the astral
plane and down onto the mortal land. Among mortals there are adventurers that have committed their entire lives to searching for these “meteors”. They travel the lands fighting horrors beyond imagination, unsung heroes of an old world overturned by catastrophe.
Players will have the opportunity to use Sphere Magic and summon powerful heroes to fight alongside them; in their journeys, they might find the secrets of True Magic and perform rituals capable of drastically transforming reality. Their allegiance and devotion to a god will confer upon them blessings and miracles. A limited few become one with the god and transform into their living avatar.

The La Notte Eterna project on Kickstarter will be live until the 3rd of March 2023. The main goal is $4,295 and it was fully founded in the first 20 minutes. The are additional stretch goals as well, including new adventures, monsters, subclasses and many more.
